Last night I went home and hooked the rest of my new computer up. Except one thing, the printer. It just happens to be the one of the only printers that Macintosh does not have drivers for it is the Lexmark 1650. So if anyone has a suggestion or a site for the drivers comment me.
Me on my second day of work. I just barely found some time to take a photo with photo booth. I am having a good work day I have been kept busy the entire time.
As you can see work is kind of crazy right now so many people to help, and that is only about 1 third of the people.
About a week ago Kyle Weber and I logged on to eBay to look for a newer computer for me, since my computer I have is a slow g3 power book. We ended up looking for a macbook but they are too expensive. So we began looking for a tower of some sort. We quickly found a powermac g4 with dual 1.24 processor with 1 GB of ram and a superdrive and a 80GB hard drive. We waited to the very end of the bidding and placed a bid for $365 we out bided the other two bidders and I now have a new computer. That we set up yesterday with leopard. But we ran into a problem because we were taking my moms dell computer and transferring her data over to my Mac so we could replace hers with my Mac. Everything was going to smooth till we had to transfer over the incredimail address book. Come to find out we couldn’t find the file for it, we looked for about an hour but never did find it. But we think it might be in the registry on the windows hard drive. This sucks because it makes it difficult to get into so don’t know what to do except take the hard drive back out and put it back in the windows computer and transfer the data to folder we can find on the Mac side. I will keep you updated on how it goes.
I am happy to say, I finally got a job as a computer tech in learning. It is the best job I have ever had. On the first day of work we took about 50 to 80 computers from people taking a class here in Star Valley. We then put on activprimary and activstudio, it took the entire day to finish it all. After the day was done we happened to find out after setting up the computers the installers we were using were not putting on the resources. Today we are going to put the resources on the computers.
Hey only 4 more weeks of school, and just a couple of days ago I went and had my eyes checked. Because sometimes everything would go blurry, and come to find out the only thing wrong with my eyes is they are dry. So I got some drops and now I can see just fine without them getting blurry.
I am currently at my grandparents house getting ready to go work outside on an old trailer. Also I am setting up camino and azureus. So nothing too exciting going on; except that my brother just got a recording application sent to him by one of the recording centers he might get to publish a song. So that is all that is happening to me right now.
On New Years Eve me and my bro were jumping snowboards, in front of my house on the road. I pulled him with my 440 while he hit the jumps going about 30 to 40. It was awesome until I went a little to fast and he cleared the landing pad and went about 10 to 15 feet off the jump. He couldn’t get his board under him so he landed on his arm it looked like he might of broke his wrist. That was the end of that till another day.
I went on a short ride with a friend to the top of old man ridge. Boy is it beautiful up there. Then came back and played on the sled for awhile. I can’t wait to do more riding this year. I usually ride with my brother, Kyle Weber, and Matt Nelson. I live up in the hills in the summer. But not so much in the winter.
